When we first heard that the snake was possibly manifesting, we discussed it as a group. A few of us, like Evan and I, said we were going to ask the directors for clarifications and would report back with our findings, and we all agreed to figure out how to tell you all after.

Hikage didn't wait, went and gave incomplete information, and then had the nerve to blame us for his mistake. [ ... ] And then admitted he would gladly sacrifice all of us if he could get away with it.

It was the lack of acknowledging his mistake and shifting the blame on the people who fixed it for him that really... well, he would be useless on the field.

... as for the night I died, I followed Evan after I saw him walking into the forest. I wanted to bring him back inside, but apparently the doors had locked at some point after I went after him. When I went to get his attention, I accidentally scared him instead.

I know he didn't. [ he says that rather firmly. is tsuru defensive of evan? yes. ] I just mean that if someone had legitimately tried to attack me, I wouldn't have gone down as easily.

It's... a little complicated. I'm actually in the middle of a mission, and the situation became unexpected. I wasn't entirely sure how to bring it up to you without worrying you, so I kept delaying it.

The possession had already occurred before we got there. So we had to break the hold the armor had on him before anything happened.
